CNBM Attends 6th CIIE
On November 5, the opening ceremony of the 6th China International Import Expo ("CIIE") was held in Shanghai. Under the coordination of CNBM, a member of the Chinese Central State-owned Enterprise Trade Delegation, a host of top-notch exhibitors from at home and abroad were organized to attend this Expo. Li Xinhua, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of CNBM, was invited to attend the opening ceremony & Hongqiao International Economic Forum, as well as the sub-forum themed Empowering Businesses with Open Innovation. Other attendees included Wang Yumeng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Deputy General Manager of CNBM, Peng Shou, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of CNBM, and Wang Bing, Executive Director, Vice President and General Counsel of CNBM Company Limited.
Li Xinhua, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of CNBM, said that CNBM would closely follow the requirements of the Belt and Road Initiative and dual carbon targets in practice, joined the globalization trend, and undertake a more pragmatic, efficient, proactive, and responsible approach to international cooperation. He continued that CNBM would join hands with basic building material and new material partners to draw on each other’s strengths in the industrial, value, and innovation chains, lay a more solid foundation for win-win cooperation, develop closer relationships, expand space for mutual benefits, share greater opportunities of development, create a more sustainable community of common interests and of common destiny with closer interpersonal relations, and help establish a safe, stable, green, digital and efficient global industrial and supply chain system with low-carbon emissions.
During the event, Li Xinhua held talks with Sanchez, President of Fives Group. They exchanged views on how to enhance strategic cooperation in machinery and processing equipment and play a leading role in the intelligent, low-carbon, and green development of the materials industry.
It has been six years since CNBM participated in the CIIE. Over these years, CNBM has continued to intensify cooperation with global partners to boost common development. AVANCIS GmbH, Singulus Technologies AG, and Autoliv Inc., which are affiliated to CNBM's subsidiary Triumph Science & Technology Co., Ltd., have concentrated on showcasing their outstanding performance in thin-film solar cells, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), semiconductors, and medicinal glass bottles. In addition to that, CNBM organized employees from CNBM Company Limited, CBMA and some other affiliated companies to exhibit more than 40 technologies and new materials, including many world-class industrial innovations such as advanced ceramic materials for bearings and nonlinear optical crystals, as well as advances in tech fields such as materials for China-made aircrafts, carbon fiber, cadmium telluride PV glass, 70MPa Type IV hydrogen tanks for vehicles, and lithium-ion battery separators.
