Triumph Group Holds the Centralized Contract Signing Ceremony of PV Projects cum the Launch Ceremony of the Triumph Green Energy and Housing Development Fund in Shanghai

On May 24, Triumph Group held the Centralized Contract Signing Ceremony of PV Projects cum the Launch Ceremony of the Triumph Green Energy and Housing Development Fund on the site of the SNEC PV Power Expo (2016). Wei Feng (Assistant GM of CNBM, GM of International Cooperation Department of CNBM), Peng Shou (GM of Triumph Group, President of CTIEC) and leaders of the associated units jointly attended the event.

At the event, Triumph Group signed a cooperative agreement respectively with VON ARDENNE GmbH and Singulus TECHNOLOGIES AG for the Triumph ST 3GW CIGS Project, and with SMIT THERMAL SOLUTIONS, VON ARDENNE GmbH and 4JET Microtech GmbH & Co. KG for the 100MW CdTe solar cell project. Besides, the EPC contracts for the 120MW above-ground PV power station (the UK) and the Yunlin solar energy demonstrative project, as well as the project implementation contract for the 95MW above-ground PV power station (North Coast, California), were signed at the event.

Following the centralized contract signing, the Triumph Green Energy and Housing Development Fund was formally launched. Peng introduced the outstanding achievements Triumph Group has made in new energy, new-type house, new material and emerging industry integration in recent years, and encouraged investors and government departments all over the world to join the fund and build a green future.

Upon years of development, Triumph Group has established a comprehensive development mode throughout the industry chain that integrates raw materials, glass, modules, R & D, equipment, engineering construction, O & M and investment. In 2014, Avancis was incorporated into Triumph Group. This year, the team of the research center in Munich set the new world record of conversion efficiency (17.9%) in the CIGS solar cell laboratory. Triumph Group will make an investment in building a 15GW thin-film solar cell project (phase 1: 3GW), which can be rated as a world-class “aircraft carrier”. The CTF’s CdTe solar cell laboratory achieved the conversion efficiency of 17.8%. On the basis, Triumph Group succeeded in seizing the PV station project markets of the developed countries, and bloomed in Europe, the US and Japan. In particular, 9 PV power stations (200MW in total) have been built up in the UK. Besides, with flourish of the new-type house industry that integrates new materials and new energy, 12,000, 8,000 and 3,000 green towns will be built in Chile, the UK and Spain, respectively.
