Song Zhiping Attended UK-China Business Summit

From October 20 to 23, Mr. Song Zhiping, Chairman of the Board of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), and Mr. Peng Shou, Vice President of CNBM, General Manager of Triumph Group, and President of China Triumph International Engineering Company, joined the delegation of the Chinese government, which was led by President Xi Jinping, on a visit to the UK. On 22 October, They attended UK-China Business Summit in the City of London.
UK-China Business Summit is the platform at the highest level for exchanges and conversations between UK and Chinese business circles. President Xi delivered an important speech in the Summit, and proposed strategic guidance on how technical cooperation between China and the UK serves other countries.
During the visit, China Triumph International Engineering Company, a subordinate of CNBM, signed agreements with Welink Energy on developing a 200MW PV Surface Power Station Project in the UK with UK Renewable Energy Company, and the construction of a green town of 8,000 new houses. At the same time, it established cooperation with Royal Barcelona Design Company of Spain, and signed MOU of building green towns in the UK, Spain, Kuwait, Chile and so on the basis of developing projects of new houses.
When in the UK, the delegation led by Mr. Song Zhiping met senior executives of Welink Energy, Royal Barcelona Design Company of Spain and UK Renewable Energy Company, and discussed new plans and goals of cooperation and development. They also met Mr. Keith Wilkins, scientist at Nanometer Company of the University of Manchester, and honorable member and operation director of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and discussed potential development of and cooperation in graphene technology, and quantum dot and nano coating technology.
At present, CNBM plays an active role in dealing with the New Normal, has proposed the “green, smart, high-end and internationalized” transformation, and accelerates the transformation and upgrade. This successful visit to the UK and the signing of MOU is an important measure in the transformation and upgrade of the Group, and a solid step in the internationalization of “One Belt and One Road”. Cooperation with British and Spanish companies in building +energy 5.0 new houses and creative green towns is an initiative in serving other countries with new energy houses, and offers a new mode of “One Belt and One Road” and “Going Global.”
