Song Zhiping Meeting with HBS Professor Joseph L. Bower

On April 27, President and Party Secretary of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) Song Zhiping met with Harvard Business School (HBS) Professor Joseph L. Bower, President of Pan-Pacific Group Liu Chijin and his party at the headquarters of the group.
Joseph L. Bower is a well-known HBS professor with more than 40 years of teaching experience and he once came to China with his team for field research and yielded the case study of “China’s Building Materials: Promote the Development of China’s Cement Industry”, which was then listed into HBS course materials. Firstly, President Song Zhiping welcomed Joseph L. Bower and expressed heartfelt thanks to him for his constant attention to the development of China’s building materials industry along with the introduction to the current situation of China’s building materials industry and the way it proceeded in the past two years. Bower said, China’s building materials industry has made many greatly typical achievements in merger, reorganization, transformation and upgrading over the years, providing important experience to integration, reorganization, transformation and upgrading of large enterprises as a model for management practice and innovation to global business leaders and business school students.
Then, President Song Zhiping, Professor Bower and President Liu Chijin made full communication of macro-economic situation and “Belt and Road” cooperative development concept and deep discussion of export of complete equipment, international capacity cooperation and other hot topics of common interest.
