CTIEC Signs the Contract of a Float Glass Project of Algeria

On March 31, the signing ceremony of the 500 t/d float glass line EPC project in Adrar, Algeria was held in Beijing. Peng Shou (Chairman and President of CTIEC) and Ms. Wang Xuexu (authorized representative of HAMEL (a renewable energy company of Algeria)) signed the EPC contract.
Located in Adrar (in the south part of Algeria), the project is to be built by CTIEC for HAMEL (construction period: 28 months). It refers to the complete production line from mining to shipping of finished float glass. CTIEC undertakes engineering design, equipment supply, civil construction, equipment installation, personnel training, commissioning and examination. The most advanced float glass processes and equipment are introduced to bring advanced indicators. The project is the first export of CTIEC’s float glass technology to Algeria, and will effectively relieve short supply of float glass in Algeriaand the countries around.
As another important cooperation subsequent to the 4,200 t/d cement production line project signed with the same customer on December 12, 2013, the project progresses smoothly at present. As the first large float glass EPC project undertaken by CTIEC abroad, the projectsymbolizes that the CTIEC’s business of overseas glass project has been brought to a higher level.
