CTIEC Signs the Cooperation Agreement of a PV Power Plant Project of Kazakhstan

On March 27, in the witness of Masimov (Premier of Kazakhstan), CTIEC and Best-Group NS signed the cooperation agreement of the 5MW PV power plant project in Mangistau, Kazakhstan. Adilov (GM of Best-Group NS), Alliyeva(Advisor of Best-Group NS), Ma Mingliang (Vice President of CTIEC) and Sun Jie (Vice President of CTIEC) assisted at the signing ceremony.
The ceremony was an activity included in the official visit to Chinapaid by Masimov. Issekeshev (Minister of Investment and Development, Kazakhstan) and Skolnik (Minister of Energy, Kazakhstan) also witnessed the signing.
As a construction company headquartering Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, Best-Group NSis engaged in construction of civil buildings. This time it entrusted CTIEC with building a 5MW PV power plant in Mangistau, Kazakhstan in the role of EPC general contractor, starting the long-term cooperation between the two parties for jointly developing the new energy market of the country.
Kazakhstan is a country given importance to in the China’s strategy “Belt and Road” as well as a traditional market of CTIEC. After the 3,300 t/dcement production line project in Zhambyl (Vicat), for which CTIEC acted as the EPC general contractor and Beijing Triumph Building Materials Engineering Co., Ltd. acted as the EP subcontractor, was successfully put into production, the 3200 t/d clinker line inShymkent (Italcementi) is being smoothly pushed, and expected to be put into production this year. Signing of the cooperation agreement improved completeness and diversity of CTIEC’s business in Kazakhstan.
