On October 2, the Pentre Farm 6.1MW ground PV power station in the UK contracted by China Triumph International Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CTIEC) was officially connected to grid. Previously on September 13, another British PV power station--Hayford Farm 9.8MW ground PV power station contracted by CTIEC was connected to grid successfully, too.
Located in Westbury, a town in the middle of the UK, with an area of 210,436 square meters, the Hayford Farm 9.8MW ground PV power station is CTIEC's first EPC ground PV power station project in the UK. Located in the south of Wales, with an area of 102,700 square meters, the Pentre Farm 6.1MW ground PV power station commenced on June 2, 2014 and achieved the goal of grid connection in four months. Both projects have passed the owners' inspection and review and the G59/2 grid connection test by the local power company--Western Power Distribution (WPD).
The smooth completion of the two projects has established the favorable image of CTIEC's "Triumph New Energy" brand in the British market and laid a solid foundation for CTIEC to further open the British and European new energy markets.
