Chairman Song Zhiping meets Lazard delegation

On October 29, Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), warmly received a delegation of Lazard led by CEO Kenneth Jacobs at the headquarters of CNBM.
As one of renowned investment banks in the world, Lazard with rich experience in annexation & reorganization and assets management has contributed to a lot of successful mergers and acquisitions.
Song welcomed the delegation, spoke highly of Lazard's long-term cooperation with CNBM and Sinopharm, and introduced some of related Chinese industrial policies and the future direction of corporate development. CNBM is advancing some projects in depth, he said, hoping to push forward the cooperation with Lazard and believing the two sides will have more cooperation opportunities in the future.
Jacobs said Lazard is pleased to keep good business relations with CNBM and Sinopharm. He reviewed Lazard's cooperative projects with CNBM in new energy and cement, introduced the potential opportunity of cooperation in pharmaceuticals, and expressed the willingness to employ Lazard's industrial advantage to continue cementing cooperation with CNBM and Sinopharm in annexation and reorganization.
During the talks, the two sides looked into cooperation in fields like new energy, cement and pharmaceuticals, and reached consensuses on a wide range of issues.
