On December 26, the Ministry of Science and Technology delivered the “Award Ceremony of the Certificate for National Bases for International Cooperation in Science and Technology”. Leaders, including Cao Jianlin, vice minister of science and technology and Jin Xiaoming, director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), presented the certificate to the enterprises accredited as national bases for international cooperation in science and technology, including 20 international united research centers, 37 demonstrative bases for international cooperation in science and technology, five international innovation parks and ten international technology transfer centers. China Building Materials Academy (CBMA) was listed among the “Bases for International Cooperation in Green Building Materials”. Yao Yan, president of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) and president of CBMA was present and received the certificate from the MOST.
Cao delivered an important speech, noting it has been six years since the establishment of the international cooperation base and a pattern of “project-talent-base” has taken shape, and hoping all international cooperation bases will endeavor to renovate cooperation modes, raise cooperation levels and achieve new success in international cooperation in science and technology.
The title of “National Base for International Cooperation in Science and Technology” represents the MOST’s recognition of CBMA’s efforts in international cooperation in science and technology, and poses higher requirements to its future work. CBMA will take the opportunity of building a “national base for international cooperation in science and technology” to develop new cooperation channels, increase cooperation quality and play a demonstrative and leading role in the building materials industry.
