Bengbu Design & Research Institute for Glass Industry Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with BYD

On September 6, Bengbu Design & Research Institute for Glass Industry (hereinafter referred as Bengbu Institute) and BYD held a grand signing ceremony in Shenzhen, and both parties established strategic cooperation relation in terms of such projects as building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) technology and standard, application technology of energy storage materials, PV glass and charging facilities for solar electric automobile in new energy field. This action was a positive response to national appeal of energy conservation and emission reduction, and construction of resource-conserving society, which was very significant to promote innovation and development in new energy field and also brought good development chances for both parties at the same time.
On signing ceremony, the president of Bengbu Institute Peng Shou introduced the development of Bengbu Institute in cogeneration, environmental protection and energy conservation etc. He showed that, under the condition of European "double-anti" (anti-dumping and anti-subsidy) and disadvantageous international new energy trend, Bengbu Institute realized a strong combination with BYD, which would be significant to promote development of new energy industry; meanwhile, he also wished that both parties could enhance technical R&D in new energy field, and make use of clean energy to drive urbanized development.
Before signing ceremony, Peng Shou and his delegations came to visit BYD exhibition hall, future village and energy storage power station. The vice president of BYD He Long introduced Peng Shou and his delegations with IT industry, automobile industry and core technology and products in new energy field of BYD.
