HCRDI attends Seminar on “Lime Production Technology and Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction Technology of Cement Production” in VET

On May 25, 2011, the Seminar on “Lime Production Technology and Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction Technology of Cement Production”, jointly organized by the Ministry of Construction, Building Materials Association and CCBM Consulting Company of Vietnam, was held in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, with the participation of relevant leaders of the Ministry of Construction and Building Materials Association of Vietnam. Over 180 representatives in Vietnam’s building materials industry were present.
Bao Wei, chief engineer of Hefei Cement Research & Design Institute (HCRDI), made a keynote speech on “Major Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Technologies and Equipment in Cement Production”, elaborating on the development and applications of cement sintering technology and equipment, cement grinding technology and equipment, dust collection and environmental protection technology and equipment, technology of coordinated disposal of urban garbage and sludge by cement kilns.
